Endless mulberry fields, the ancestral craftsmanship of a region, and a legendary route. We could imagine our production in no other place than China. At the same time, we are committed to creating local value here in France.
Thanks to our founder’s deep expertise in supply chain, we were able to identify the right partners from the very beginning. Five years later, we are still working with them and have grown together. We’ve had the chance to visit their workshops, the mulberry fields, and witness the entire production process, it’s truly fascinating. Amidst all this silk-making tradition, what we discovered above all were the women and men passing down a story.
Today, that story is also ours.
Our historic workshop in China
For the past five years, we have been working with the same partner in the Jiangsu region, the ancestral cradle of silk.
We paid special attention to their history, their Oeko-Tex certification, the quality of their facilities, and of course, the silk they use.
We are proud to say that we have grown together. Our partner improved their processes for us and even relocated to support our production.
Since then, we have found two other workshops to avoid being fully dependent on a single partner.
Above all, the quality of human relationships and the care given to the products guides every one of our choices.
Our methods of transport
We prioritize rail transport to bring silk from China to France.
We’ve even set it as one of our goals: 60% of our shipments should be by train.
It’s a risky commitment, some shipments have been delayed for several weeks.
For this reason, air freight remains necessary for certain deliveries, although we avoid it whenever possible.
Sustainable, plastic-free packaging
We took on the challenge of being completely plastic-free in our supply chain and packaging.
Our suppliers questioned us about the risks of damage during transport after all, plastic is still the easiest way to protect our products.
We trusted our instincts and set new standards: we are the only ones delivering without plastic blisters or excessive packaging.
And we don’t regret it.
Our finishes – a true expertise
After five years of experience with silk, and more than ten years of being fascinated by it, we’ve determined the perfect combination: 22-momme silk, grade 6A, with natural dyeing. Reinforced and elegant stitching thanks to the piping.
A discreet almost invisible zip, reinforced at the ends. Silk that withstands the test of time and machine washes, ready to accompany you for many years.
